Amazing album from acid victim Syd Barrett The Madcap Laughs was an album that was nearly impossible to record. Syd Barrett was in and out of reality and very unrealible. But when he was in the studio he created some excellent songs. Syd laid down some basic tracks while Roger Waters and members of Soft Machine assisted with the backing tracks.
